NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND CONSIDERATION OF PETITION TO DISCONTINUE ENGELDINGER LANE

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town Board of the Town of Franklin, Kewaunee County, Wisconsin, will hold a public hearing at 6:30pm on September 14, 20266 at the Franklin Town Hall, N1885 County Road AB, Denmark, Wisconsin 54208.

The purpose of the hearing is to consider and act upon a Joint Petition submitted by Nathan and Megan Sekora and Lisa M. Duckart requesting that the Town discontinue the roadway commonly known as Engeldinger Lane, located on Tax Parcel No. 31 008 28.122, and that the parcel revert pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 66.1005(1).

The public way proposed to be discontinued is legally described as follows:

The West 24 1/2 feet of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter (SE1/4 of the SW1/4) of Section Twenty-eight (28), Township Twenty-two (22) North, Range Twenty-three (23) East, in the Town of Franklin, Kewaunee County, Wisconsin.

The petition requests that, following discontinuance of the roadway, Tax Parcel No. 31 008 28.122 revert to Lisa M. Duckart as the owner of the original parcel from which the roadway parcel was created.

All interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard. Written comments or objections may be submitted to the Town Clerk before the hearing. The Town Board may take action on the petition immediately following the public hearing.
